This project reimagines the iconic monsters of popular culture; Frankenstein, Dracula, the Invisible Man, the Creature from the Lagoon and the Mummy; through a fresh and contemporary lens. The idea was to bring these legendary horror figures into a stylized 3D universe inspired by Pixar aesthetics, where each character retains its essence while gaining a modern, expressive, and almost endearing personality. The goal was to demonstrate how nostalgia and timeless icons can coexist with new visual trends, creating impact both for younger audiences and for those who grew up with these classic figures.
Beyond technique, this project explores the duality between the monstrous and the human, reminding us that behind every myth lies a story filled with emotions, fears, and contradictions that transcend generations. The intention is to open the door to new narrative possibilities: imagining films, campaigns, or transmedia universes where monsters don’t just frighten, but also move and connect through a contemporary visual language.
